Constitution is up for revision at select times stated in the Constitution.

 

Constitution

 

Article 0 - Preamble

 

We the members of Coffin Coaches Car Club, subscribing to the policies and regulations of The World, do hereby establish this Constitution to govern the matters within our organization.

 

Article 1- Name

 

            The name of this organization shall be Coffin Coaches Car Club henceforth referred to as Coffin Coaches Car Club and/or CCCC/Coffin Coaches.

 

Article 2 – Purpose

 

The mission of this organization is to share the enjoyment of this groups accepted automobiles, events, geo-caches, and haunted places. This club was formed modeled off the Phantom Coaches Hearse Club in the West to share the love of our unique automobiles and host car shows. We plan to host car shows, share info on parts or projects, history and stories on haunted places, geo-caching, meet new people, and have fun.

 

Article 3 – Membership

 

This group is going to be the 3Nationwide and maybe eventually worldwide Coffin Coaches Car Club.

 

Section 1

 

Membership Eligibility: Membership in Coffin Coaches Car Club shall be limited to and include those interested in any show cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Individuals interested in joining Coffin Coaches can join by contacting the Chapter Adviser in their area or contacting the Prez at tylergdwn@yahoo.com or through the group email at CoffinCoaches_carclub@yahoo.com which is preferred. After contacting and communicating to the Chapter Adviser one must fill out an application and pay a yearly $30 payment for dues.

 

            Section 2

 

            Non-Discrimination Policy: Coffin Coaches shall not discriminate against any individuals by refusing membership based on age, race, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, or national origin.

 

            Section 3

 

            Membership Responsibilities: Members of Coffin Coaches shall attend monthly meetings and pay the $30 due payment each semester. All members must have a up to date application on record. These members also need to recruit and bare the marks of the club such as: hats, shirts, patches, hoodies, jackets, etc, often and proudly but not all the time unless desired.

 

            Section 4

 

            Resignation: Members shall be asked to resign from Coffin Coaches if they do not meet the requirements given in previous sections. Or if they perform unruly conduct that as a group  is decided undesired to have around. If a member wishes to resign from the organization voluntarily simply must request a meeting with the Chapter Adviser and tell them the reason for leaving so an attempt to fix the problem can be made for the current individual or future members. After resignation for either situations, the member’s application will be burned to ash by the  Coffin Lord or the Chapter Adviser. If an officer wishes to drop their position a new voting will commence for a new one.

 

Article 4

 

            Section 1

 

            Elected Officers: Elected Officers of Coffin Coaches shall be Prez, Chapter Advisers, Treasurers, and Officers. A quorum of 5 or more shall be present in order to select the elected  officers with a majority vote needed to pass the vote. Elected officers shall serve a term of 1 year, at which time new officers will be elected.

 

            Section 2

 

A.President (Prez)

 

        1.Elected only when passed on to the next.

 

         2. Leader of the nationwide and worldwide organization

 

          3. Controls actions of the group

 

          4. Chooses content and news for the main website

 

          5. sends info on events

 

B.Vice President (Vice Prez)

        1. Assumes position of Prez when he or she steps down.

        2.Helps in decisions and making things happen for the Prez.

C. Club Secretary

        1.Helps in keeping records and making files.

        2.Helps in meetings with outside sources for events and other matters.

        3.Helps in recruiting.

C.Chapter Adviser

 

            1. Elected every year unless demanded change

 

            2.Leader of his/her individual Chapter. 

            3.Controls actions of Chapter after permission is given by the Coffin lord

 

            4.helps achieve local news and events for the Chapter

 

D. Treasurer

 

            1. Elected by Adviser

 

            2.Must be trusted with money

 

           3. controls chapter’s finances

 

E. Officers

 

            1. 2 are elected by the group

 

            2. Assist Adviser in running his/her chapter

 

            3. in force rules of the group

 

            Section 3

 

            Executive Board; The ranking positions shall serve as the executive board for Coffin Coaches Hearse Club. This board will meet and agree upon certain issues and matters of the chapter.

 

            Section 4

 

            Advisor: The advisor of Coffin Coaches Car Club shall be the liaison to the Coffin Lord

 

            Section 5

 

            Removal of Officers: A quorum of 51% of the voting members must be present to conduct a vote to request the resignation of an officer with a majority vote needed to pass the vote and remove the officer.

 

Article 5-

 

            Meetings will be held once a month. Dates will be determined by the Executive Board. At least five of the total membership of Coffin Coaches must be present to conduct business in a regular meeting setting, two of which must be officers.

 

Article 6- Amendments

 

            For meetings in which Coffin Coaches wishes to amend their Constitution.. The President must be present either physically or virtually and majority must vote. The proposed amendment must be announced at the meeting preceding the meeting the amendment vote will occur. The Constitution shall include the date it was revised

 

            Also, the Constitution shall be reviewed for revisions at the end of one year. The Executive Board will decide if any amendments need to occur, but in the event that the Constitution needs no revisions, a majority vote of the organization membership shall pass the Constitution until the following two years pass.
