Who Are We?

The Coffin Coaches Car Club was started by the Prez Tyler Goodwin and his car Lucy. Lucy is his 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Miller Meteor Hearse. She did 18 years of service at a funeral home in Austin, Indiana. She then was sold to a gentleman that wanted to make her a hot rod but had not the time nor money so she sat for two years in the grass under a tree. Then Ty purchased her and with the help from his father, Scott Goodwin, got her working properly and smoothly.

Coffin Coaches was created October 1st only after about 2 months of planning and ideas before that. Our goal is to bring together lovers of service vehicles, classic cars, geocaching, and car shows from around the world. Ty's original plan was to join a pre-made hearse club but decided the gas wasn't worth it to drive to California or Canada for events. So Coffin Coaches was created.  OWNERSHIP IS NOT MANDATORY! We have opened it to people that enjoy or own any car, van, truck or motor vehicle.

Do you like scavenger hunts? How about Geo-caching? Coffin Coaches are huge supporters of this great hobby. Join and meet other geo-cachers. Meet up and go on hunts. Going along with the Haunted locations in previous paragraphs, the Prez is an active geo-cacher with the geo-caching name of flyingmonkeysqq. He is the owner of the Haunted America series cache.

Dues are based on yearly membership and cost 30 dollars for the year.
